On my recent visit to Wynberg-Allen, Mussoorie, I found the school to be a very well kept one with all the modern facilities. Boarders looked happy and the staff, very loving and attentive to children's needs. Wishing ' all the best ' to the management and children.

The Wynberg-Allen Senior school is from classes seven to twelve and caters to the needs of children between 13-18 years. In addition to preparing students for the I.S.C. and I.C.S.E. Examinations, the Senior School conducts several activities like quizzing, dramatics, debating, elocution, creative writing, spelling bee competitions, athletics and sports like hockey, cricket, basketball, tennis, badminton, soccer and chess. All these activities are conducted by the experienced and competent staff of the Senior School and are most ably overseen by the Headmaster, Mr. P. Radcliffe and the Principal, Mr. L. Tindale. Well equipped science and computer laboratories, an audio visual room, a well stocked library, a state of the art auditorium, an indoor heated swimming pool, a large playing field where the school hosts various inter-school sporting events, a skating rink, a basketball court and a spacious gymnasium ensure that the children who pass out of the school portals are truly well-rounded and well groomed young ladies and gentlemen who stand out in a crowd because of their sophisticated and refined demeanour.

Wynberg Allen School was founded in 1888. Yes, it’s been 128 years of excellence in academics, arts, academia, sports, and music. The school is still moving to achieve excellence in every field. Wynberg Allen School is a boarding school located in Bala Hisar in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The school originated with a meeting in Kanpur in 1887. Here, Mr. Powell, Mr & Mrs. Foy & Brig. Condon met and decided to start a school. The seed was planted. They established a school at Jaberkhet along the Tehri Road in 1888. Later in 1894, the school was moved to its current Wynberg Estate in Bala Hisar, Mussoorie. In 1916 the Society was formed. Its objective was to govern a school that would provide holistic education to students, based on Protestant Christian principles. With such a clear vision, the school evolved into the institution it is today. It has continued to flourish and has firmly established itself as an educational institution that ranks among the finest in the country.

Excelsior..!!!! Wynberg Allen was one of the best things that happened to me. This place made me meet "MYSELF." A me i did not know existed. It gave me a lot in all fields. Though i was here for only 2 years, 11th n 12th (batch 2002-2004), i never felt so. The teachers, my batchmates, the mess staff everyone made me feel like home from day one. This is the best any parent can give their child. I thank mine for it. I'm truly grateful being a proud alumini of wynberg Allen school.
